The food flavor is authentic. We ordered bibimbap, topokki, veggie pancake, and naengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodle). All of them didn't disappoint us. Portions are great for the price. It has supermarket so we explore more products while waiting for the food. Very satisfying experience. We definitely will come back for more. I wanna try their jjamppong, jjajjangmyeon, and bulgogi.
New to NM and I was on the hunt for some authentic Korean food. This place more than delivered. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and sat at a table with my family. We went when the gimbap was available (Thursday-Sunday) we ate 4 rolls and bought some to take home with us. It reminded me of when my mom would make gimbap for my elementary school field trips. It was delicious. I’ve been to many Korean restaurants throughout the US and most places do not have Korean cooks. Nothing is wrong with that, but this food reminded me of home. All the Korean women in the kitchen making everything, the taste was just different. It reminded me of my own halmoni’s kimchi and my mom’s cooking. The first time we went, we had gimbap, jjampong, and udon soup. The second time we got, gimbap, jajangmyeon, and bulgogi. Highly recommend giving them a try! Also to note: their kimchi is delicious and all the ladies are wonderful!
A must visit! Pleasantly surprised that this grocery store had a restaurant inside! The products such as frozen kimchi dumplings & squid and produce like enoki mushrooms were incredible. The restaurant was 5/5 delicious! I had Soon Dubu jjigae (soft tofu stew) with seafood and squid salad. I recommend this over and over. Food was comforting and staff were polite.
If you’re in the mood to eat delicious Korean food in the area, I absolutely recommend trying out this place! We stopped in to the market to get some essentials to make Korean barbecue at home. We had no idea that there was also a restaurant attached! And since we were there around lunchtime, it was a no-brainer to try the food. And it did not disappoint! The market has essentials to make Korean food staples. About the only thing that wasn’t available was soju, which I understand because they would need a liquor license. They did have everything else we were looking for: samgyeopsal, ggaenip, kimchi, gochu garu, ssamjang, etc. Despite being a small market, it was well stocked. We ordered a variety of dishes to try. They were all, without exception, delicious and well prepared. We ordered: gimbap, japchae, bulgogi, and haemul pajeon. They served us boricha, which is my favorite and it was a nice surprise. My favorite dish was definitely the haemul pajeon; it was flavorful, perfectly crisped, and packed with seafood. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The ambiance was peaceful. Restroom was clean. We live two hours away and I would totally make the drive to eat here again!
